The Social Services Department provides many and varied programs and assistance for families, children and adults in need. The Department's current Director is James Howard.
A three member citizen board, The Greene County Social Services Board, is responsible for the direction of the department and its programs. This Board is appointed by the Greene County Board of Supervisors.
